How should I handle my media?

  • Make sure that you handle media by the edges, corners or from the non-printable side. This helps prevent oils from your fingertips from contaminating your material. Cotton gloves can be worn to prevent oils from getting on the coated surface.
  • You should allow ample drying time for your prints. Be patient because if you don’t allow time to dry you will you may smudge or even put finger prints in the material, ruining the print and causing you to waste more time reprinting it. Also the media could fail when it is applied to its certain application.
  • Keep your environment and work area clean. Factors like dust, grime, and food will contaminate your prints.
