GR-31 is a water soluble ink degradent. It is highly effective on lacquer, legend, enamel, epoxy, multi-purpose (solvent based), poster, UV, and vinyl inks. GR-31 will protect the fabric from deep stains or ghosting from the image print. This makes it much easier when complete reclamation of the screen is necessary.
GR-31 can be used in a wide variety of innovative cleaning processes ranging from re-circulation machines, dip tanks, immersion cleaning processes, and automatic reclaiming machines. It can also be applied manually with a scrub pad, spray bottle, or pneumatic pump systems.
When used for screen reclamation, begin by carding off excees ink from screen.
Spray GR-31 onto the mesh and then scrub both sides with a non-abrasive pad or scrub brush until the ink is liquefied.
High pressure water rinse all ink residue from the screen. By washing from the bottom to top, you will prevent the possibility of any ink locking itself back onto the mesh when it comes in contact with the rinse water*.
