Prep-Rite is a semi-viscous formula for degreasing and wetting all types of screen fabrics, including polyester, nylon, and stainless steel. Prep-Rite leaves the fabric free of oils, contaminants and residues which will ruin the emulsion coating. Ideal for use with capillary film stencils. Prep-Rite creates a powerful "sheeting" action that dramatically reduces the incidence of "pin-holes" and "fish-eyes" when coating your screens with emulsion. It also helps control hard water and other contaminants found in the rinse water. Prep-Rite is recommended for use as a "mesh prep" for new fabric.
