Nazdar 4700 Water-Based Screen Ink Additives - Thinner
| Container Size: | 1-Gallon |
- Description
- Benefits & Specifications
- Resources
Use 2732 Thinner to reduce the viscosity of Nazdar screen inks. Add up to 10% by weight. Adding more than 10% thinner will raise the VOC level above 3.5 lbs. per gallon. If the ink dries too slowly, use water instead of 2732 Thinner to reduce the viscosity. Add up to 15% by weight.
Primary Substrates:
- Treated Polypropylene Containers (PP)
- Treated High Density Polyethylene (HDPE)
- Treated Low Density Polyethylene (LDPE)
Secondary Substrates:
- Polycarbonate (PC); Styrene/Polystyrene (PS)
- Acrylonitrile‑Butadiene‑Styrene (ABS)

Disclaimer: Adhesion should always be tested as adhesion depends upon curing conditions, age and manufacturer of the substrate. Adhesion may be improved when the substrate is cleaned with a suitable solvent such as isopropanol.
When using any Nazdar additive, it is imperative to test the suitability of the product before making a full production run.
