Multi-Chromatic pigments are added to solvent-based and UV-curable screen printing ink systems and provide a metallic finish with color-travel variations depending on viewing angle. For example, one of the pigments changes color appearance from subtle turquoise through brilliant silver to metallic red hues. The pigment should be printed over a black surface to achieve the highest effect. These pigments can be combined with transparent colors to provide additional effects.

Adhesion should always be tested as adhesion depends upon curing conditions, age and manufacturer of the substrate. Adhesion may be improved when the substrate is cleaned with a suitable solvent such as isopropanol.
