Chris Mace Jr., General Manager for M&M Displays, speaks to the transition to digital signage and single pass technology and how they are starting to phase out the screen printing side of their business. He states they still have the need for screen printing jobs and machines, but are starting to eliminate some equipment to make room for larger digital platforms, such as the EFI Nozomi. He mentions how a 4-5 hour set-up with screen print machines compared to the no-setup with the single-pass technology has made them realize the efficiency digital can provide is a necessary switch to remain competitive.
