MagnaPrint® Discharge LO System

A new, low odor, bright ZFS discharge system.

The MagnaPrint® Discharge LO range is a conventional ZFS based, low odor discharge system which gives excellent results, brilliant color development and soft handle on dischargeable fabrics. MagnaPrint Discharge LO has a mildly sweet aroma during use, unlike other discharge ink systems.

- MagnaPrint Discharge Base LO – Low odor clear discharge base for strong, bright shades
- MagnaPrint Discharge White LO – Low odor semi-white discharge base for pastel shades can also be used as discharge under-base.
- MagnaPrint Discharge Super White LO – Low odor white discharge base for bright white shades.
- MagnaPrint Activator AB – Discharge activator powder.

APPLICATIONS:

Mix base with MagnaPrint Eco Pigment and add 6% Activator AB. Mix and leave for 10-30 minutes to dissolve. Remix prior to printing. Activated inks have a shelf life of up to 8 hours depending on the room temperature.
Print using 43 – 77 (110 - 200) mesh screens and a medium 65° shore rectangular squeegee. Avoid the use of flash units, for best results discharge prints should be printed wet on wet.
Use 3 - 4mm off contact and one stroke print. The discharge paste must penetrate into fabric. If necessary, reduce squeegee speed and increase pressure.
Always print MagnaPrint Discharge Super White LO in the last position to avoid pick off and build up on screens.
After printing the garment/panel should be dried and baked, ideally for 2½ - 3 min at 170°C (340°F).
