Screen printers face a variety challenges, but there is a solution for every issue; you just have to know where to look.

As we start to experience a fluctuation in our weather as spring arrives, it's important to understand how to take care of your graphics when the temperature drops. Pressure-sensitive vinyl is certainly not immune to the drops in temperature. Most adhesives have an application range from approximately 50° to 80°Fahrenheit. (Be sure to check product performance guides for exact installation range for specific products.) This temperature range refers not only to the ambient temperature but also to the temperature of the substrate. If the temperature is too cold, the adhesive on the graphic will not stick. The film itself may also become stiff and difficult to work with. Some films can even become brittle and will crack if they are too cold.
